I build software and lead teams through complex product delivery.

My 10+ years of experience span frontend engineering, system architecture, accessibility, and cross-functional product development.

Selected work

Perkins School for the Blind · Braille Bloom

From prototype to a product shipping worldwide

I led engineering delivery, translated braille rules into testable requirements, contributed to C++ firmware, and directed validation across more than 2,500 platform and connection configurations.

Outcome

Launched worldwide in approximately 10 months with no known critical or high-severity translation defects, supported by more than 45,000 test executions.

iRobot

Making a global web platform easier to change

I grew and managed six frontend and backend engineers, built reusable components, and designed independent frontend deployments for a marketing and ecommerce platform serving up to 17 countries and languages.

Outcome

Frontend releases moved from approximately every three weeks to weekly. The shared architecture supported three major redesigns with fixed launch dates, two delivered by a single frontend engineer.

Mural

Making a visual canvas usable beyond the mouse

I designed and implemented accessible interactions for Mural’s HTML5 canvas table widget, testing and refining them with University of Washington researchers and blind users. I also reviewed shared components and led accessibility testing during a product-wide rebrand.

Outcome

The widget supported keyboard and screen reader use in collaborative workflows, including Kanban layouts. By rebrand launch, all interactive controls surrounding the canvas were keyboard accessible.
